DMM 2.2 has been released. Preparation work started already in the year 2000, when it was decided to strengthen DMM even further as a system for inspections, quality control and condition based maintenance. The work on DMM 2.2 has been very exciting. It has involved many of our customers and it has also involved our partners at handPoint yielding new and import features regarding the use of handheld devices together with DMM. The development work was successful and the objectives were reached. DMM 2.2 can be used by wide variety of companies as a system for inspections and quality control. DMM 2.2 offers companies to carry out their quality control objectives from mission statements through documentation and actual inspection work all the way to locating deviations and straighten them out.
