DMM Solutions has been awarded an agreement, according to which DMM Solutions, in partnership with Dr. Anthony Kelly , will carry out an audit for maintenance management at Landsvirkjun, the national power company in Iceland www.lv.is. The Audit is directed towards Maintenance Management at Landsvirkjun´s Energy division, which embraces all the power plants operated by the company. It applies to maintenance strategy, organisational structure and systems, such as work planning and performance control systems. The project´s aim is to access current situation and to identify chances of improvements, with comparison to best known practices. The audit will be conducted in a “top – down” manner. The scope covers the very high level structure of the company, with focus on business objectives, down to shop floor at power stations. The focus will primarily be on management practises at the Energy division. Other divisions and their influences on the operation of the energy division will however also be studied through mapping of hard data and interviews.
