Electronic Signatures in DMM

In DMM, important information is recorded, such as assessments of the condition of critical equipment, various types of inspections, details about technical equipment, progress on major projects and contractor involvement, as well as different types of damage and the handling of damages and failures. Some of these records are of such a nature that it is convenient—and sometimes essential—that they are confirmed by more than one party, which may be within the relevant company or external to it. In DMM, this is now possible through electronic signatures, which we have implemented in close collaboration with Dokobit by Signicat, a company well-regarded both in Iceland and internationally for secure and user-friendly handling of electronic signatures.
