DMM has long offered functionality for registering employee work tools and estimating time on tasks based on roles and down to individual employees. Additionally, DMM allows users to create so-called presets/favourites to save and store specific screen views. Systems like DMM offer virtually unlimited possibilities for retrieving and organizing information, so it’s important to be able to “save” selected views that users want to access repeatedly.
It is very common among companies with structured asset and maintenance management to plan the upcoming week carefully, ensuring that tasks are well scheduled, ready for execution, and that workload is reasonably distributed among employees.
In the DMM web portal, DMM 4, the presentation of this data has now been made more visual, allowing planners to quickly assess whether task distribution among individuals and teams is reasonable. These views can be saved as presets and bundled into so-called perspectives. Perspectives can store selected live “information views” from DMM, which managers can quickly access during, for example, Monday or morning meetings to review upcoming tasks with staff and fine-tune as needed.
